Let’s get a wave started

Most of us have been to some sort of sporting event where some idiot in the section next to you started standing up and raising his arms, trying to get his drunken buddies to do the same. They reluctantly agreed and eventually the whole section to his left was up in some sort of fashion, resembling a half-assed tsunami.

Next thing you know you look up and the whole damn stadium is following suit and doing the “wave”, and it’s rolling right into your lap. Of course you’re going to: A) put your drink down, then B)complain how dumb it is to the buddy sitting next to you, then C) stand up, put your hands up and yell some stupid phrase, then D) sit back down and do it again in another 38 seconds.

OK, so pretend I’m sitting in the section next to you and I’ve just stood up and done the stupid wave. Now it’s your turn. Stand up right now and THROW your hands into the air and scream something uplifting!! Why not, no one is going to see you except your dog, and everyone knows dogs can’t talk. Go ahead, do it. Right now. See? Didn’t it feel at least a little bit good? Now if we can get everyone do it it just once, things have to get better, right?

Please, just do it.

The starting point

Every race begins with a starting point, right? Well, this is mine. I’ve been successful at times and failed at others. Guess which I’ve been better at? That’s right, failures. So right now, at 8:51 pm (western standard time), on March 11th, I’m dedicating my life to making my life better. No more B.S.

Is your life like mine? If it is, then I sympathize with you but don’t feel sorry for you. You’ve continually said you’d change, but it hasn’t happened yet. Why? I don’t know either, but it has to start now. I don’t have a choice. I’ve used up all my options, sapped all my funds and now the well if finally running dry and I have no choices but to make it rain money so the well starts to fill up again. I’m sure that noone cares about my situation, but I’m curious to see if there are others out there like me.

Does life suck right now? Do you think it can’t get any worse? In debt? Up to your ears? Let me know if you are. Let’s work together to get out of this situation. Why not. Do you have an idea of how to make your life better that others can use? Do you want to see if the idea you have really works and can help others? Let’s see if it does. What the hell. It can’t get any worse than it is right now and I’ve decided that my reply to “how’s it goin’ ?” is going to be, “GREAT”. Why not? Who’s to tell me tha t it isn’t going great? If I tell you it’s going well, maybe you’ll have a positive reaction and tell someone else that it’s going well, and so on and so on.

Warren Buffet can send the DOW into a tailspin with a simple comment on the economy, so why can’t a few more voices send the DOW into a spiral upwards with constant uplifting comments. No B.S., just positive news that can help the general public.
